The Brazil-U.S. Higher Education Council, coordinated by the Fulbright Commission in Brazil and supported by the U.S. Department of State, is offering the 1st Brazil-U.S. Short Course in Biofuels Technology for selected Brazilian and U.S. graduate students and professionals. The Short Course aims at providing interdisciplinary education in bioenergy and biofuels technologies and to encourage the development and advancement of joint student exchange and research projects and production of scientific evidence between both countries. Target audience is graduate students enrolled in university programs in Brazil and the U.S.

The Brazil-U.S. Higher Education Council – Biofuels Network and the Institute of Advanced Studies at the University of Sao Paulo are offering the:

Proving Interdisciplinary Education in Biofuels Technology

Objective: To provide interdisciplinary education in bio-energy and biofuel technologies and to improve communication among institutions of higher education, science, and other public and private organizations in Brazil and the U.S.

Target Audience: Graduate students enrolled in MSc., PhD and post-doctorate programs in Brazilian and U.S. universities interested in bioenergy and the advanced study of biofuels.

Application and criteria for admissions: Consideration for admission is based on curriculum analysis and the candidate’s research project.
