The University Undergraduate Research Fellows Program is the most prestigious independent study opportunity available to undergraduates at Texas A&M. As a fellow, students participate in two semesters of research during the senior year culminating in a senior honors thesis and a symposium presentation. A close master-apprentice relationship between student researchers and faculty advisors helps students discover their potential for serious research with the support and guidance of an interdisciplinary scholarly community. Students get real world experience while writing an Honors thesis and contributing tostudent and professional publications.
