Research is vital to the growth and reputation of Texas A&M University.  Student Research Week (SRW) showcases research occurring on the Texas A&M campus with an emphasis on research in which students participate. SRW provides a venue for students to present their work. Additionally, SRW allows students and the community to see the depth and breadth of research done at Texas A&M.  SRW originated in 1994 as a one day poster competition for graduate students held by the Graduate Student Council.
