Finding Research Funding RESI Seminar Series 1
Prepared for the 2009 Fellows of the Race and Ethnic Studies Institute
Seminar 1: Finding Research Funding
The Race and Ethnic Studies Institute (RESI) was established to highlight research relating to the study of race and ethnicity in various dimensions. RESI focuses on intersections between class, gender, and sexuality in the areas of education, immigration, politics, culture, and health. In addition, RESI strives to foster an interdisciplinary community of social science and humanities scholars in these areas.
This presentation on strategies for success in finding potential funding opportunities is the first in a series of five about grantwriting. A document listing various web sites useful in searching for funding was also part of the presentation.
