The seminar will cover:
- types of fellowships
- how to search for fellowships that fit your situation
- how to prepare a competitive fellowship application
- special emphasis on the upcoming NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program and the National Defense Science and Engineering Fellowships
We will also have a panel of students who have won graduate fellowships discuss their experiences and answer questions.
Note: A separate seminar dedicated solely to Ford Foundation Diversity Fellowships will be held on September 22nd.

Note to International Students: Because most of the fellowship programs funded by the US Government are restricted to US citizens, international students are not eligible for many of the fellowships that will be discussed. However, there are fellowship programs funded by foundations and corporations that are open to international students. These will also be discussed.
