This seminar will cover how to write a competitive proposal to the NSF CAREER program, including:

  • Program and proposal requirements
  • Advice on winning strategies and how to avoid common pitfalls
  • Resources for broader impacts components
  • Examples of successful proposals
  • A talk by a CAREER reviewer
  •  Discussion and Q&A by a panel of recent CAREER winners
  •  Information on Spring Semester-Long Workshop to provide writing support for CAREER applicants

Who should attend:  untenured, tenure-track faculty who are considering applying for NSF CAREER or similar grants.
