This seminar will cover how to write a competitive proposal to the NSF CAREER program, including:
- Program and proposal requirements
- Advice on winning strategies and how to avoid common pitfalls
- Resources for broader impacts components
- Examples of successful proposals
- A talk by a CAREER reviewer
- Discussion and Q&A by a panel of recent CAREER winners
- Information on Spring Semester-Long Workshop to provide writing support for CAREER applicants
Who should attend: untenured, tenure-track faculty who are considering applying for NSF CAREER or similar grants.
