 ce of VP and Associate Provost for Diversity\, and the Office of Propo
 sal Development on Ford Foundation Diversity Fellowships and how to co
 mpete for them.  The workshop is for current graduate students who pla
 n to pursue a PhD and their faculty advisors\, and for senior undergra
 duates who plan to attend graduate school and pursue a PhD.\n\n Prepar
 ing a competitive Ford Fellowship application requires a joint effort 
 of the student and his/her advisor.  Faculty graduate advisors are the
 refore encouraged to attend with their students.
